I booked the lead in a brilliant & compelling short film, Shave, by the wonderful L.A. based writer/director, Nancy Kissam. Awesome crew and 2 days/nights at the Ace Hotel, NYC - sweet. Thanks Killer Films.

Killer Films movies have been nominated for 8 Academy Awards, 20 Emmys, and won the Best Actress Oscar for Hilary Swank's performance in Boys Don't Cry.

I've received a humbling honor from the wonderful Primary Stages - "Featured Artist"...

In my scrubs at All My Children. The grand old show is having her last hurrahs here in NYC before relocating to Los Angeles...

Wall Street. $$$$$. Espionage. Dangerous. Sexy. Funny. The script is awesome and it stars the lovely Finola Hughes and Hal Ozsan.

Finola! What a wonderful, generous actress! Working with her is fantastic! Looking forward to scenes with Hal, who's a great guy off-screen.

I have a dream role - 'Jack Donaghy' meets 'Gordon Gekko.' FUN! WATCH the trailer.

There's a new Sheriff in town - or Deputy, rather.
I'm the newly appointed Equity Deputy for the hit Off-Broadway show, The Awesome 80's Prom - now in its fifth year!
I promise to uphold the Equity standards.... and get Jolt Cola back in the cafetorium!

"Mighty Little Productions is proud to present Monroe Bound, by Lucile Scott, in July as part of the Midtown International Festival. Monroe Bound debuted in 2007 at the Cherry Lane Theatre as part of the Fresh Fruit Festival, where Thomas Poarch won the award for best actor. The play follows the lives of Lexington Monroe, a 20 something girl living in New York's "formerly gritty" East Village in 2004 and her father Alvin, who resides in a small Georgia town. Lexington and Alvin both have a tendency towards looking for love in all the wrong places and Lexington soon finds herself smitten with Pace, a charismatic but secretive female photographer, while Alvin attempts to come to terms with failed affairs from his past."

Monroe Bound will appear at the Mainstage Theatre 312 W. 36th St., 4th Fl. Monday July 13th at 6:30 p.m., Friday July 17th at 9:00 p.m., Friday July 24th at 9:00 p.m., Saturday July 25th at 3:00 p.m., and Saturday August 1st at 11:00 a.m. Tickets $18. For online purchase, visit midtownfestival.org or call 866-811-4111.

I'll be making another appearance on the Emmy-winning daytime drama, One Life to Live. This time, a quick cameo as Llanview Police Station's Custodial Supervisor, Artie. To date, I've played: Rocco the Mechanic, Angry Bar Patron, Insurance Adjuster, and now Artie. I might be the hardest working stiff in Llanview...

We're up to some movie making magic at Primary Stages.

Inspired by Alan Bennett's BBC series "Talking Heads," six writers are writing two separate 5-10 minute monologues based on personal anecdotes of living in New York. These pieces are being developed with actors and directors and will be shot at various locations around the city. The goal is to develop the pieces into webisodes for a wider audience. I have the honor of working on two wonderful pieces by two different writers and one director, under the guidance of master directors, Casey Childs and Linda & David Laundra.

THE REVIEW

David Young (of the hilarious comedy duo, Joey&David) and I studied improv together at Upright Citizen's Brigade. He's a comedy genius! He called me up to play a role in Viralcom - the hot web series that Warner Bros. Studios 2.0  produced for him and comedy partner, Joey Manderino. What a blast! I got to play a web producer named... Peter Fister (I know. I love it.). Anyway, here are my two episodes:

Episode 10: Season Finale

Episode 8: All over the net, all over regret.

Check out their site. They're out in Hollywood now up to some big things!

Ionesco’s masterpiece of the Theater of the Absurd depicts a grotesque struggle in which a teacher, using stereotypical patterns of language and thinking, prevails over his pupil.

I am the new spokesperson for Mercury Insurance! In August, I spent two awesome weeks in Los Angeles shooting several funny commercial spots (and got to see my family!).

You may also see me in the NY tri-state area on some Optimum spots.

And if you follow One Life To Live on ABC, you will see me on Thurs., Oct. 18th playing "Rocco," Llanview's friendly, family man, mechanic making sure Marcie's car is okay, and other important things.

Now to the NY stage:
Kevin Coyle's Getting Tom
How far would you go to get Tom Cruise in your movie?
Come to the Cherry Lane Theater and find out.
You also get to see me play, yes, Tom Cruise AND George Clooney (to hilarious results).
featuring Broadway's Mia Price, Rob Yang, and, of course, Kevin Coyle.

And as always, you can catch me in the totally awesome off-Broadway hit, The Awesome 80's Prom on Saturday nights at NYC's Webster Hall. I play mean "Principal Snelgrove" (and yes, I will give you a demerit). E-mail or call me to make sure I'm not away before you come (if you want to see me). Otherwise, just go. It's a rad, tubular show.

... and Friday nights at The National Comedy Theatre (36th St. between 8th/9th Avenues).
Call or e-mail to make sure I'm performing if you want to catch me on stage.

I've debuted as Principal Snelgrove, joining the NYC cast of this awesomely tubular and rad show.
ps - you can't imagine how inappropriate everyone is with the principal. One lady grabbed me and kissed me without even a "how-do-ya-do?"
(She got a demerit and a private tutoring appointment in the back seat of my office...)

WINNER! 2006 IMPROV THEATER AWARD - "BEST INTERACTIVE SHOW"

The Awesome 80s Prom is a brand new blast-from-the-past party in the style of Tony 'n Tina's Wedding and The Donkey Show set at Wanaget High's Senior Prom... in 1989! All your favorite characters from your favorite '80s movies are at THE PROM, from the Captain of the Football Team to the Asian Exchange Student, from the Geek to the hottie Head Cheerleader, and they're all competing for Prom King and Queen. And just like on "American Idol", the audience decides who wins, all while moonwalking to retro hits like "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go!" Come "Back In Time", to quote a Huey Lewis tune, and join the breakdance circle or just sit back and watch the '80s drama unfold. Come on, you know you have a Members Only jacket somewhere... and if you're lucky, you'll even get to dance with The Captain of the Football Team. The Awesome 80s Prom is the ideal place for your Bachelorette Party, Sweet 16 Party, Class Reunion, or Anniversary. The Awesome 80s Prom has been featured on television on WNBC'S Weekend Today Show, CBS's The Early Show, Fox 5 News and Fuji Television as well as in print in The New York Times, The NY Daily News, New York Magazine, Playgirl, and many others. The Awesome 80s Prom. This time you don't have a curfew.

I couldn't mention it before since I'd signed a confidentiality agreement not to talk about it, but if you followed Court TV's online mystery game,
http://www.savemyhusband.com, you just discovered that I (Grant Tenbrook) was behind the kidnapping and murder.
Also, I made the mistake of putting the role and production company on my resume (which showed up in cached web searches) and got loads of e-mails from people across the country wanting info. Ahhhh!
Did anybody play and guess correctly? I wonder how many people have to split the $25,000. reward money?
